Kandy Land

Kandy, the cultural city in the center of the country, is home to The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the most sacred Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. Our guide escorted us through the temple during the morning ceremony when the casket that houses Buddha's tooth is opened for viewing and many Buddhists bring their lotus flower offerings.
